GENERAL INFO:
Camp in our beautiful park with your RV or 5th Wheeler, etc. Only $25 per night. Pay at the Community Building in the Park (building is just south of the Horse Arena and north of the schools) using our drop box/mail slot which is secure for payments) if we are not in the office. We offer power supply, water hook up, and FREE dump station (located behind our maintenance shed by Subway (840 W. 29th). We have several hook ups, you may park along 29th street on the north side along the street, by the rodeo arena, and 4H barn. We are just 45 minutes east of suburban Kansas City, Missouri. We offer several beautiful parks; from our own city parks, with tennis, swimming at the Higginsville Aquatic Center, to the state park. (Check out our Free HPR SPLASH PAD in the front lawn of the pool...horseshoes, skateboarding, bocce ball, ballfields, walking track, tennis, and more available. HPR combined with the state of MO to have the first ever city/state park ran disc golf course, (an 18 hole disc course). Higginsville offers scenic lakes, eclectic shopping, fishing, and hunting, wonderful restaurants, (which include local restaurant and chains, including American, BBQ, Mexican, Pizza, Chinese, and more) and a quaint downtown area, with a bowling alley (one of the oldest bowling alleys west of the Mississippi River, and our historic movie theatre (The Davis Theatre) also located downtown! Stop by the Harvey J. Higgins (founder of Higginsville, museum located just north of the rail road track on main. If you are looking for antiques and gift stores we have them! Check out our agricultural implement dealers offering SUPER cool gifts to purchase, (are you a red or green tractor person, or ?) and our famous western outfitters on I-70 for great gift ideas while traveling through, along with our ladies clothing store in town as well. Along with Disc Golf, Higginsville also offers traditional golf at the Country Club, a 9 hole course and club house overlooking the City Lake east of town. Higginsville is also home to the aforementioned state park which is also beautiful and historic!
We offer close access to Warrensburg (home of the University of Central Missouri) and we are just 20 minutes from the Big Muddy river (Missouri River) and historic Lexington. Camping in our park is closed to RV's during our Independence Day Celebrations (July 1st - 3rd), our Rotary Raffle night, and our Rodeo in September, and possibly other events throughout the year.
We do not take registrations. We are not usually at capacity however. NO RV Camping during our Rodeo, Beer Garden, Carnival and Higg. Country Fair week (generally in September)
Hookups available. 3 day max. Camp along north side of 29th street by rodeo arena and 4H barn. $25 per night.
Water line for RV's is turned on in late May, and available thru end of September.
We offer a free dump station at 840 w. 29th Street. (by Subway restaurant).
During our pool season, showers available, pay current pool daily admission rate. We close off the pool to this at 6pm. Private parties or swim lessons are after 6 pm and you may not shower then.
Tent Camping is closed at this time due to the weather and bathroom availability. Contact us for more information. $25.00 fee if and when HPR allows any type of camping each night. RV or Tent.
3 day maximum RV camping, unless otherwise given permission to stay longer, must leave after that and be gone a minimum of 6 months.
