The beautiful City Lake is not managed by HPR but here is some information on the lake, fishing and trail project:
You may call City Hall for information on fishing and to obtain a fishing permit. 660-584-2106. The lake is located to the east of the city and is also home to the municipal airport that serves the local area. On the east side of the lake is also a 9 hole golf course.
There is a brand new walking trail on the northwest side of the lake. The idea was formulated by Randy Rasa, a local avid outdoorsman, veteran trail maker, and nature lover.
