PEE WEE/PETITE

Pee Wee baseball typically features one inning of coach pitch and then kids pitching after that. Petite softball follows these rules as well. (Grades K-2)

More details and information:

- The teams we will play and travel to are other nearby towns
- Games are usually played on weeknights usually except tournament and makeup games
- You may sign up individually through HPR (pricing information coming soon)
- Many outstanding varsity baseball players including current Huskers participated on a pee wee team and in this league.
- Pee Wee baseball uses a regular baseball (not soft version such as coach pitch)
- Petite Softball uses a 9" regular (fastpitch) softball

Pee Wee players receive hat and shirt - (provide own pants)
Petite players receive shirt and socks - (provide own pants)

Teams formed will receive equipment, but players may use their own helmets/bats of course (bats must meet current USA Bat and LL Baseball rules and not be in the banned list)....consult with the league before you buy a $300.00 bat! MAKE sure it's legal!

Players are encouraged to wear their own helmets as well but we will provide 6 per team

Rules: (subject to change)
Score is kept after the 1st inning (start 2nd inning)
One inning coach pitch - no score kept
Subsequent innings:
Kids pitch - 5 run limit per inning - 40' pitching distance Pee Wee
(in Petite coaches are allowed to pitch to batters if the pitcher is struggling) to help batters see pitches to hit
35' pitching distance
Runners must stop advancing when ball is controlled on the infield on hits to the outfield
